Location: City Hall Parking Lot (Civic Center Campus)
Estimated Completion: June 2027
The City of Scottsdale is transforming the City Hall parking lot with the installation of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) parasol shade structure. In addition to clean energy production, the site will be equipped with two new electric vehicle dual-charging stations to support the growing demand for sustainable transportation. This initiative is a key component of the city’s broader sustainability goals, estimated to reduce energy costs for the Civic Center Campus by approximately $130,526 annually. By combining fiscal responsibility with modern infrastructure, this project ensures Scottsdale remains a leader in municipal energy efficiency.
