Scottsdale Welcomes New Leadership
COGS extends its sincere congratulations to the new mayor and city council members! Scottsdale voters have spoken, ushering in a new era of leadership for 2025. Lisa Borowsky was elected as mayor with 54.14% of the vote, defeating David Ortega with 45.62%. The City Council will also see fresh perspectives, with Maryann McAllen (28.82%) and Adam Kwasman (29.82%) securing seats in the General Election. They will join Jan Dubauskas, who earned her position in the Primary Election.
The formal swearing-in ceremony is set for January 14, 2025, marking the start of a new chapter for Scottsdale’s governance. COGS looks forward to working with the new council to ensure thoughtful land use and enhance the quality of life for Scottsdale residents.
